Supporting Military Spouses in the legal profession with Libby Jamison [GWL139]

Libby Jamison is an attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs based in Washington, D.C.; previously, she managed her own firm focused on business and family law and served as Of Counsel to a firm in Claremont, CA.  She also currently serves as the president of the Military Spouse JD Network, a bar association serving over 1,200 military spouse attorneys and law students. Libby volunteers with the Junior League of Washington and Hire Heroes USA. In 2015, she was named as the AFI Military Spouse of the Year for Naval Station Newport and recognized with the Mary Reding Smith Excellence in Leadership Award. Libby is admitted to practice in California, Washington State, and before the Supreme Court of the United States.

The Military Spouse JD Network (MSJDN) supports military spouses in the legal profession by advocating for licensing accommodations for military spouse attorneys; educating the public about the challenges faced by career-minded military spouses and their families; encouraging the hiring of military spouses; and providing a network connecting military spouse attorneys with each other and their supporters.
